About JJ
JJ Vincent produces ceramic animal sculptures in raku and stoneware. He introduces a quirky hint of human expression into each piece - some of these animals have a lot of attitude. The animal collection includes cats, dogs, hares, cows, horses, meerkats, dodos, capybaras, orangutans, pelicans and many more.
For more than thirty years JJ, along with his wife Jean, ran a successful graphic design company in Cambridge, England. He now concentrates on Architectural and Display model making in the family business - Vincent Creatives.
Writing and performing rock music is one of JJ's passions but just lately he has started to play with mud again! The results can be seen on these pages.
So far, JJ's animals have been exhibited at Cambridge Open Studios, Anglian Potters' Summer and Christmas shows - selling numerous pieces and taking commissions for Pet Sculptures. Galleries in the East Anglian region are also showing great interest in JJ's growing menagerie.
