About JJ
JJ Vincent produces ceramic animal sculptures in raku and stoneware. He introduces a quirky hint of human expression into each piece - some of these animals have a lot of attitude. The animal collection includes cats, dogs, hares, cows, horses, meerkats, dodos, capybaras, orangutans, pelicans and many more.
John James, or JJ Vincent has been running a graphic design company in Cambridge, England for 30 years, embracing the inevitable technology of high powered computers. Computers have become indispensible but can bring with them a certain amount of stress. To counteract this, JJ employs various means of unwinding. Writing and performing rock music is one of his passions, but just lately has started to play with mud again! The results can be seen of these pages.
The word is spreading quickly. JJ has exhibited at Cambridge Open Studios, Anglian Potters' Summer and Christmas shows, selling numerous pieces and taking commissions for Pet Sculptures. Galleries are showing great interest and a two-page article has appeared in ArtsEast magazine.
