My first Meerkat

This slightly worried stoneware Meerkat was pretty much the first piece I made since re-commencing my ceramic endeavours. It was slab built, as is virtually everything else I produce, using crank clay. Dolomite glaze with localized oxides was used for decorative finish. Approximately 28cms high. SOLD.
